my 2000 Viking 1706 Epic needs lift cable repair. Anyone know how to get the diagrams/repair manual?
Hi Mark. You posted this on my profile by accident. :-)
We do have a manual library here, but not working now. I'm sure it's a glitch with the new forum format, and will be fixed soon.
In the meantime, there was an older thread there for Viking owners that may have some info you could use. It's six pages long, so didn't read it.
Orchid, last fall you asked a question about a mystery switch - the one that controls your ceiling lights. The answers you received were a little vague so I thought I'd ask if you need additional information or have other questions.
It was wired wrong. It was supposed to control the cargo light. Although it was more convenient leaving it as an interior light control switch, we fixed it fearing it would mess something else up.
When we started having trouble with the running lights, it was the first thing that got fixed. It didn't end up having anything to do with it, but we are leaving it as it was intended to be anyway.
Thanks for asking!
Lift system - FIXED! Woo Hoo!!
