Stacy and I had a wonderful time at our first rally! An easy drive home and all unpacked about 5 pm. We learned a lot and made many new friends. The hospitality and friendship was great. Thanks to more people than we can name. Stacy is ready for the next one.

Here’s a few pics from my phone.

You know it will be a good day when you wake up to birds singing, step out of your camper and see this…

Oh Merlin14, I had two great guys helping me out...first is George, (Southtexascamper) making most of the pancakes.....thanks George. Then secondly, Gabe ( tsubeta ) helped with the eggs, cracking, stirring, even adding some (Cholula ) special hot sauce to a small batch of eggs. All in all about 4 dozen eggs, maybe 4 lbs of bacon, 2 tubes (rolls) of pan sausage, 1 package of breakfast links, 1 package of Chinese sausage were made at the cook station I was at. No telling how many pancakes George made.....it was suppose be a bring what you cooked...event...worked out ok......some ladies...did offer to help...thanks Sophia, thanks Brittany , maybe next time, ....I get to watch.... [:D]

For sure there were lots of helpers. When I looked at the timelapse, it does kind of look like your shoes are glued down though. [LOL]

The link in the previous message didn't work for me, so you may need to try these:

Next time, Stacy and I will have a better idea how to help.
We sure had a blast with all you guys!

I posted a new thread with poll in the Rallies Being Planned section ... anyone ready to start thinking about a summer rally? Maybe early June before it gets TOO hot, but after school is out? Mat and I are thinking summer rallies require water to cool off in, any thoughts?

Just got organized at home from being the last to leave. SO wiped. I'm pretty sure I've thanked you all personally... which would be everyone since I think every attendee did something to make the rally a better event. If I happened to miss one or two, THANK YOU! BEST RALLY EVER! Fun activities, PERFECT Weather. 6 of the best chili's on the planet, awesome griddle/BBQ commandos, no one in our group got hurt, cool prizes. Everyone made it so much fun. I think I was the ONLY downer by missing the fish prints and nature talk Sun morning when I didn't feel well. Thank you all.

Merlin, Im loving the take on the opening credits of "King of the Hill" i.e. awesomely funny timelapse [LOL] . I saw the link to put photos but mine are all on my phone, auto updated to flickr, and I didn't want to do one by one, so here's a link to a quick slideshow (I think)
