Just check the DCNR website, sites still available but looks like they are starting to fill up. You still have time to join us.

Ok, just for your information, when using a campground Wi-Fi be patient, your posts go through even when you think they didn't.

Still have some sites available but they are booking up fast. If you're on the fence about coming it's time to decide. :)

I'll get a list started for the potluck on Saturday. We will bring cheesy potatoes. We have about 5 weeks until the rally. Dang, where did the summer go?

Not really sure what we're going to do, a meal or dessert but we're kicking around some ideas. And I have no clue where summer went.

Put me down for Meatballs again! We'll make sure to double up the quantity this time so we don't run out!

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Hard to believe September is here.

Still have some site open for the rally so if you're on the fence now the time to book.
    For the potluck we have:
    Crosbys2008 - Cheesy Potatoes
Vagov - Macaroni Salad and possibly dutch oven dessert.
Phager76 - Meatballs (James was bummed he couldn't get more at the last rally.)
    Dustyroad - TBD

The meet and greet will be Friday night with the potluck on Saturday. Can't wait to meet up with everyone again. Its just 4 more Fridays!!!

We just booked Thursday as well. I'm going to try to cut out of work around 3 and hopefully be there around 6! Anything for an extra night of camping!

I'm leaning towards pulled pork for the pot luck.

Been a while since I could get on the Portal. We are getting excited to meet all of you and get away from home and camp.

We are making Dutch oven creamy Mac-n-cheese with toppings on the side. Mmmmmmmmm!

My boys are asking how many kids will be there?

Well, we're bringing three along ages 8, 4 and 3 plus a dog. Both Rob (crosbys2008) and Andrew (Salandrew) have two each, so that's a minimum of 7.

This trip might be a little bittersweet for us, we're seriously thinking of moving to the dark side next year, so this could potentially be our last trip in the Pop Up!

Actually, I'll have one kid, the 7 year old. My daughter wants to go to the Homecoming game and unfortunately she is also dating a football player and wants to go to the dance.

<3 I'm a pop up lover at heart! Forty years, and all I've ever camped in has been canvas.

I haven't ruled out a hybrid, it's going to all depend on what's available come spring. We're planning on either a hybrid, bunkhouse or toy hauler. The problem is we always travel with the dog, so in a pop up that really limits any sight seeing/excursions that we can do, since I won't leave her unattended in a pop up.

I'm also getting a bit tired of the whole pop up to load, pop down, do trip, pop up to unload and dry (since it rains every time I camp) routine.
