Oh god. My daughter will be 17 by then! SEVENTEEN! I can't possibly be this old!
Yep! We’ve got him surrounded!
Deb made me promise to behave with the LED spot lights.
Thanks Deb! I'm right beside you in site 25
Hi Stefie! My oldest is getting so grumpy about going anywhere that my strategy is to drag him to your not a rally and then make sure he has so much fun that he won't fight me on Maine. We're going to OOB after the rally with hockey friends of my youngest, and DS1 is already digging in his heels. I don't understand. What teenage boy doesn't want to hang out with his mom?
Haha, I'm one of the lucky few whose 13 year old still snuggles with me and gives me hugs for no reason other than he missed me. What is your 13 year old into? Jake loves all things Star Wars, Roblox, drones, etc. He is NOT a sports kid. Much more into video games and the like.
Great, that everyone is surrounding me especially Jimmy on the backside of the site
On the plus side...... I won't be there.
But I Will! I'll bug him for you Scott.
poke the bear
Yes I did Jimmy.
Hi Stefie. Yes take that as long as you can get that! Both my guys like Star Wars, video games, Legos, tech stuff, the all pervasive You Tube marathons. Usual boy stuff. My oldest is into chess in case anyone else out there is - - none of us are bright enough to provide him too much of a challenge. LOL. My youngest is a hockey goalie so very into hockey and Lacrosse, but definitely into other things as well.
Oh our boys are going to get along just fine. Jake plays chess too.
I didn't know Jake played chess. I used to be pretty good at it, but it has been a long time since I have played.
Yep! He learned when he was in 3rd grade I think. I am zero challenge for him because I can't remember how every piece moves but Jeff is decent and Jake's gotten pretty good. I'm sure he'd love to play against anyone. We always have a board in the camper.
Let's have a contest. Who ever can execute the most moves before Jake beats them wins. It'll be like a victory parade for all the losers.
LOL, are you volunteering to lead the parade?
Well, if it's a chess losing parade, I think I might end up HAVING to lead it. I've played maybe 20 games in my life.
I say we do Beer Chess, everytime an adult loses a piece to Jake they drink a beer
