Our ‘98 PUP is in pretty good condition. Not issues with the vinyl but 2 of the canvas windows have pretty significant rips that were just duct taped when we got it. I tried to stitch together with fishing line and it just tore through the canvas. Almost had a dry rot sound to it. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to repair? Thanks so much!!

    Maybe try iron on patches?

I use contact cement to glue on patches. I had some patches on there that lasted 4 yrs before the mice eat everything. If i had to do it again I would also stitch the edges with the Speedy Stitcher I picked up a few months ago. I was very surprised at how easy it was to make a decent seam with a little practice.
