Hey there , I posted a couple of threads about my repair of the front cargo box, so I want to post pic's of each phase. So i'm going to do it in a few posts.
I started by stripping it all off down to the frame. Then I treated all the rust with stabilizer , then painted it with rust inhibiting paint. 3 pic's

The next thing I did was tapes off the hole around the frame and blocked off each end. Then I filled the bottom of the front panel with spay foam to make it more ridged just up to floor level. Then I went over all the edges of the corners with foil tape to give it a little more structure. 3 pic's

Next come the wood. I started with 3/4 plywood for the floor and added more cartridge bolts to hole it down better. Insted of put 2 small pieces on the front support brackets I use 1 piece of 1/2 treated plywood 40" long to tie them together. the site won't let me upload any more pic's to this tread so I have to start another one , sorry what a pain

You can do it on one post by using the "Edit" button (bottom left). That keeps all the info in one place, for people looking for this same issue, in the future.

Only a little bit at the bottom corner by the outside wall and the corner of the pass though , but structurally yes it's in good shape. Just saved it...

Try the "Edit" and see if it will let you remove some pics. I've had double post when the site was running weird.

PopUpSteve may be able to undo the pic mess and tell us how to avoid it.
