After getting through the cow jam we made it back to one of our favorite spots
Beautiful scenery, and nice pictures I can see why it is your favorite, I hope the fish were biting. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful! Where is that?
Upper Gros Ventre River. East of GTNP.
Nice! I'm headed out that way next month. Two days up on the Beartooth and two days in Yellowstone. Perhaps more if I swing back that way after Idaho.
Awesome location! I’ve dealt with a lot of cows myself.
Beautiful! Is it a designated back country site? Reservable? What if someone else was there? Could you just keep driving and find another spot?
The area is dispersed camping. Not reservable. Yes if someone was there we would go find another spot. That one is about 30 miles down that dirt road. Most sites on that road are miles apart. There is a FS campground on that road as well.
We are heading to Hayward in August
Would that be Hayward Wisconsin?
Yup. My brother in law has a place on Whitefish Lake. Love Hayward
