Greetings fellow campers! Our family hails from Chilliwack, BC. We were recently given a 1996 Rockwood Pop up so our little tribe of 6 can enjoy the great world of camping. The previous owners had left the camper outside for a few years so it had quite a bit of water damage. We just took her on her maiden voyage to Leavenworth, WA, one of our favourite spots!

She needed (and still needs) quite a bit of work, but we are on our way to making our little trailer a great home away from home.

Our maiden voyage was just great. We have more work to do, but we are loving the pop up experience! I am looking forward to reading all of the hints found here. Thanks for building a great community!

Nice restore on it. Looks like it cleaned up nicely, and the kids did their part, too!

It looks like you took out the counter with the sink. Did you move the thermostat, or do you have other plans for heat if needed?

    Welcome!

Where did you stay in Leavenworth? Our travels usually take us around the Winthrop area, but we're always looking for new spots. :)

Thanks! We did move the thermostat- down by the fridge. We decided that with 6 people, the storage space was more valuable than the sink. So far so good!

There is a great little spot called the Blu-shastin rv park. Full hookup for 35.00 a night. Great little pool and a family friendly environment. Where do you camp in Winthrop?

We frequent the national forest campgrounds around there. Basically all over the Methow Valley.
