Spend labor day here. It's more pricey as it's private at 50/night. It has a nice pool, showers, a clubhouse, playground, dog park, and a camp store. Also has small fishing area and about a 1/2 mile nature trail on each end of the park. Couldn't get t-mobile service but verizon works. The popup sites with water + 30a electric are mostly shaded. The pull through RV spots with full hookups are not. Each site has a very small charcoal grill on a pole and a fire ring made from old truck wheels. Sites are very small and crammed together. The park is nice, you can rent a tube from them for $14 a day and you can jump into the san marcos river and they will take you back to the campground as much as you want. It has a small rocky beach you can swim and hang out at on the river as well. They are pretty strict on rules, no noise after 10. The stranged part was the showers for 25 cents per 4 minutes like a vending machine but they were clean. If you want to go tubing, this is a great place!
