We just reserved A35 at the Big Bend Area at Lake Canton.
Good deal. Gonna be fun!
Can't wait to get there and see everyone!! BTW bought a ladder rack off craigslist for the truck to carry the kayak. Hope to get it installed this weekend (weather permitting!). So the "Yak" will definetely be there for whoever would like to take her out for a spin......as long as DW and I aren't in it the whole weekend!!!
So far we have.....
Albert and Melanie
Arffch... sneak away for the first night or two to the rally... tell everyone you're storing up energy for the big Wedding!
About one month to go for rally.
Looking forward to see y'all.
Howdy fellow neighbors.. Just catching up on some reading this evening and looks like you all are going to have a WONDERFUL rally this year.. It looks tempting..
Hope you all have a great time.
Looks like we dodged another bullet her in Norman. I know a lot of people were affected by the hail storm the other day. Sandy I hope your camper was safe. My orginal 1985 coleman was destroyed ....fortunately I had sold it to a friend and it will be covered in his home owners insurance so he will be getting a *new* camper.
While down on the north side of the city I came across two pop ups that were totaled and I don't know how many campers....too many to count. I have never seen anything like that in my 48 years of living here. The back of my dad's house looked like someone shot it multipul times with a shotgun with VERY LARGE shot!!! He even had a piece of hail come thru the window and but a hole in those plastic mats that you put under your desk chair!!!
I hope everyone faired well during this freak storm. I know I have spent the last 24 hrs on the northside of OKC helping out friends and family covering windows that have been broken out.
We just got marble sized stuff here for the most part. A few bigger ones, but not many.
We got hit pretty hard, but were very fortunate that the most we got were very dented cars and cracked windshields. We have full coverage on 3 of the 4 vehicles so we should be ok there. Our camper resides under the carport...what does that tell you about our priorities...so it's unscathed, thank goodness.
I really wish we were going to be able to make it to the rally but just doesn't seem like it's going to be possible.
Marble sized hail in Shawnee, at least here on the north side. The main hail core dodged us and went south so no damage. Really hoping this weather pattern settles down by the middle of June!
Me too, OMG!
Here is a link to a picture of the back of my dad's house...just to let you know why I was so concerned about everyone!!
FYI ..there are more pictures of the damage in that same folder.
Ugh! That's horrible!
Hold on to your hats, Okies, gonna be another nasty one today.
I just reserved A 33 for the 17th, 18th, and 19th.
And the list grows on.... and the list grows on....
Ok, got the kayak rack mounted in the truck, two shirts ordered from Ok. pop up campers store, now just waiting for the day to come!!!
We Just bought our OK rally shirts and we can't wait to sport them at the rally.
Shirts ordered and ready to go. Hoping we're out of the rain cycle by June so we don't have to practice Monsoon cooking skills like we did last year.
