Hi all, I have been starting to smell propane when the valve is open. Cant smell it when it is shut. The smell is coming form right around the propane regulator. Cant tell exactly where. Any Ideas?
    Thanks

Get a brush some detergent mixed with the same amount of water and brush it over the components you think are leaking including the valve and hose fittings.
If it is leaking you should see bubbles expand almost immediately around the leak.
Once found repair or replace as required. (Under the regulator is the vent hole, make sure you brush over this also)

Be sure the valve is opened all the way, otherwise propane could leak around the valve stem. If this doesn't solve the problem, you may indeed need to replace the regulator.

If your valve is leaking when partially opened, then it is faulty and should be replaced.
