I apologize if this has been discussed a lot but I didn't find too much in my search...

I need to replace a brake light on my 2014 Rockwood 1640ltd. I was thinking about making the change to LED since I was already changing it for the added brightness/safety.

Has anyone made this change? Is the process any different? Any tips?

    Thanks!

I have done it. I replaced the bulb in mine. It needs to be an exact replacement bulb only LED. Check the lumens and get as bright as you can find. If you match the color of the lens, it is supposed to be brighter.

If you are replacing the whole fixture, just pay attention to positive and negative when wiring. LED lights are polarity sensitive and won’t work if you reverse the wires.
