We have a 2011 Coachman Clipper with a powerlift system. The roof struggles to go up, causing the motor to overheat and the fuse to trip. We have greased the cable underneath, some kind of spring under each if the supports, waxed the supports with paraffin wax...nothing helps. We also replaced the fuse. Any other ideas? Our local repair shop is 4-6 weeks out on all repairs and we leave on a 14 day trip a week from Friday.

Several things to look at/for. Is the battery fully charged, are all the electrical connections clean and corrosion free.. Low battery will cause increased amp draw and blow fuses. dirty connections will increase resistance and amp draw goes up.
Being a 2011 its likely that the brushes in the motor aren't seating on the armature. This will cause everything you are saying.
