We have a 1984 Starcraft Starflyer 19 that we are going to begin to renovate. One idea I had was to relocate the 12vdc battery. I’m thinking of using trailer tongue box to house two group 27 AGM batteries. I’ll use two Moroso Thru Panel Connectors to get the electrical through the box.

Anyone else do this before? Any suggestions are welcome.

Sounds good to me, if the batteries need to be vented , some don't, then just be aware of that.

Sounds good as lomg as the batteries are locked down. One tipping over and contacting both posts on the box might be exciting.

THis is something I was also planning to do. I have the same model Starflier you do... looking forward to seeing how your reno goes.

Should be simple to punch some vent holes in and maybe a small fan, if they do. Seen that done before.
