Errr, I'd like to claim I was a Liveried Footman or Guardsman with the bearskin hats at Buckingham Palace [GBR] but I work in employment law in Leeds, Yorkshire! [SNZ]

Technically we Civil Servants are somehow all Crown Servants and even Parliament rules by the Gift of the Sovereign.

Really I count myself very lucky to have a safe job with sickness benefits, pension and the chance to develop my career, oh and NO age discrimination, if you can do the job, you get it! Not like some firms in the private sector (in my opinion only....).

I was an apprentice metalworker until joining the Royal Navy as a Minesweeper communications operator and now have a Ham radio licence.
I'm a medically retired owner/operator of trucks, buses, and coaches here in the East of England, also a retired part time motorcycle instructor.
I spent a lot of my early retirement teaching myself computing and web building just to pass the time, then I progressed to photography which I still dabble in.
Now I'm busy reviving engineering skills I had forgotten I had restoring a vintage PuP
