There's actually a trailer under it. The pallets are stacked in the trailer to support the hull of the boat. That's the part that is put together with pallets and duck tape. Obviously not a safe towing means but exaggerated by the police. No way one could tow such a heavy boat without a trailer frame, axles and coupling tongue.

Is it bad that I had to look at the photo a couple of times to make sure this wasn't someone I know? LOL

It's obvious that you've never been to Michigan.

Where I used to store my camper there is a redneck camper. For lack of a better word. I can almost guarantee it's not street legal. Shame I don't have a picture of it. Essentially they took a full size van cut the top off but kept the drivers section whole and built something like a truck camper on top of the (frame). It was put together by wood, ratchet straps and duck tape. The back had a homemade plate "redneck" .No clue if it had a "real" plate. If it did I'm thinking it was registered before they tore it apart.

Wow....this is in Abbotsford which is about 20 minutes from where we live...famous words from Forrest Gump....Stupid is as Stupid does. This person deserved those fines, it puts other motorists at risk especially with no trailer brakes. Can’t imagine his impound fees.
