So my pup has a flipped axle. That means the suspension has been flipped so it sits higher and I can use larger tires and get more ground clearance. My TT came lifted

hey thanks for the reply, so, I have a basic leaf spring suspension with the axle suspended on U bolts, and the axle is over/on top of the leafs. now that I think about it the entire weight of my trailer is hanging on the U bolts. are you saying your axle is under the leaf springs? that would totally make sense. if you have a pic that would be awesome. trade you for sites in western OR :)

    Can’t post picks here.
I hate to snoop, but i was looking through forums and saw some of your posts in Boondocking.. I noticed your trailer in your profile picture and was wondering if you had any build specks, or a thread on your axle flip?

    Hope all is well,
    Rick

Hey Rick. No worries, it’s all public info. About 15 years ago I had that pup in for a electrical issue and the service guy suggested an axle flip. That gave us about a 5 in lift and we could go up two tire sizes. That’s all I really remember about it. Definitely recommend the flip. I’ll see if I can get some pics of the underside.
