Took the plunge and ordered a 2017/18 Classic ALiner for delivery May 2018. Ordered with both soft dormers. Want the light and air. Have tented up to now but have a big trip planned and quick setup/take down will be of a great benefit. Do consider the ALiner a bigger hard sided tent so transition should be easy. Will still take the backpacks and packing equipment for those backcountry sites.
