We have done PCH before. I grew up in Watsonville (between Santa Cruz and Monterey), and just last summer we spent a week in the pup at Morro Beach. We live in the Central Valley now, which is why we are driving through the heart of California. :)

While I'll be surprised/shocked if this thing ever comes to market, I do appreciate the visionary, if misguided thinking behind the concept. At least people are trying to look past the same basic concept that's dominated the market for what, 50 years?

Agreed on the website. Lots of sizzle, no substance. I wonder if they've even built one yet, or if it is all CGI?

I've lately been daydreaming about what to do with our dinette, as I too find it mostly a waste of valuable space. Ours is in a small slideout, so I don't know that it would work exactly like yours, but it does have my mind thinking. :)

For what it's worth, my wife and I have taken two cross-country trips so far (we've only owned the pup 1 1/2 years). I have found the RV Trip Wizard website to be invaluable when planning a trip. They offer a 7 day free trial -- I'd at least give them a look.
