We're about 20 minutes south of Stockton, and my daughter's family lives in The City. Yeah, it's happening all over. My check engine light came on this weekend, and my app/sensor said it was something to do with the catalytic converter. We had spent the previous night in a hotel, and my first...
We have done PCH before. I grew up in Watsonville (between Santa Cruz and Monterey), and just last summer we spent a week in the pup at Morro Beach.
We live in the Central Valley now, which is why we are driving through the heart of California. :)
While I'll be surprised/shocked if this thing ever comes to market, I do appreciate the visionary, if misguided thinking behind the concept. At least people are trying to look past the same basic concept that's dominated the market for what, 50 years?
I guess it's technically a popup, since the roof raises from road to camp mode. Looks pretty cool, if I had $125K burning a hole in my wallet.

I've lately been daydreaming about what to do with our dinette, as I too find it mostly a waste of valuable space. Ours is in a small slideout, so I don't know that it would work exactly like yours, but it does have my mind thinking. :)
When we bought our popup (with a shoilet), my wife said "that's a waste of space -- we'll never use that".

Good day, happy campers!
I recently ordered 2 pair of Pug Paws for my popup. The package came with both screws and adhesive, although the Paws will have to be drilled out to use the screws.
Am I crazy to be leery about using the adhesive method? It just seems to me that constant strain from...
(apologies if this has been covered ... didn't see anything in search)
It seems in my limited experience that more and more campsites (especially government) have signs on their water spigots saying "don't fill your trailer", or words to that effect. Either that, or the spigot requires a...
For what it's worth, my wife and I have taken two cross-country trips so far (we've only owned the pup 1 1/2 years). I have found the RV Trip Wizard website to be invaluable when planning a trip.
They offer a 7 day free trial -- I'd at least give them a look.
UPDATE:
The mobile mechanic came by and crawled underneath. I helped him pull the bars. One had really seen some damage, but the other was ok. Cables were all jacked up.
He ordered all new cables, and looked into a replacement bar. Unfortunately, they were backordered, but he can weld, so he...
