We're in Canada so in fall we fold it , cover it with some blankets or old sleeping bag so tarp isn't right on it and then put a tarp over and peg it down till spring. Seems to be doing fine that way .
Long ago we had a border collie shepherd cross pup. She needed more activity than we could give her so we gave her to a fellow with cattle. She had the cattle rounded up and in before he had a chance to train her so it seems at least the smart ones know what to do on instinct.
Need more than one pie iron for sure. No one wants to wait while someone else is cooking and then work in a hot pie iron😬 especially kids. You can buy double ones also .
We take our pie irons and pretty much do bush pies when camping.
We do some in bread, some in tortillas.... fillings.... use your imagination....ham/ eggs/cheese...apple slices/ cinnamon/cream cheese.... taco meat/cheese/ peppers. whatever you like😁
Guess the difference is we're in Canada. We put blankets and a tarp over it and it's tucked in till spring! Too cold to play with the Aliner in winter.
We have had an Aliner for 8 years and love it.
We have an Aframe camper so no canvas. I clean all food related items out of it, but dishes , bedding and cushions stay; then I put bounce dryer sheets in and on everything all over the place and fold it up for winter. It's usually closed through the fall and into spring before we use it but...
Had the dog loaded, the food packed etc ready to pull out and no lights on the trailer would work. While crawling around under the trailer and so on trying to find the problem discovered an issue with one of the tires. Missed the first 2 of a six night reservation.
