Mine had the same square plug but only 5 pins. It didn't have back up lights which is what the 6th pin is for.
Looks like the adapter you bought will do exactly what you need it for. No need to rewire anything.
You're correct, my mistake and thank you for the correction. Forest River does not own Jayco. Either way, their quality has suffered since they were sold off.
My ac leaked once in my hybrid. I made sure it was all dried out before putting everything back in place...no damage done. It was an issue of the bolts loosing and just needed to be tightened back up.
Take a look at

You can see what the replacements will cost depending on what type you choose. Just make sure its not too thick or your roof won't close correctly.
The cold valve is facing the wrong way...it needs to be like the hot is. You're getting water back flowing into the tank through the hot valve and then there is no pressure to push it back out.
The bypass should be inside under the dinette seat or something like that...on the opposite side of the tank than the pr valve.
The bypass valve is a very good idea btw!
You can access it inside through the door under the bed and the outside door on the passenger side...the water heater appears to be on the drivers side of the box.
If you're running 3 separate 110 outlets off it, a 30 amp cord could be a good option. You can always get an adapter to plug the 30 amp into a 110 outlet at home.
I don't see a switch on the outside either...bummer.
If the electric igniter isn't making a clicking noise when you turn it on, that is likely the issue somehow. I'd call the previous owner or the dealership you bought it from. If it was a private sale, just see if they had any issues with it...
Search "110v pass through plug" on Amazon and you'll get a ton of good options.
Noco makes good stuff. I have a couple of their battery chargers and would buy anything they sell with no worries.
If you have gas appliances working in the rest of the camper, it's probably not a supply issue causing the water heaters problem. Our 2020 hybrid had the electric on/off switch on the actual tank behind the outside access door. The propane on/off switch was inside on the control panel with all...
The biggest reason we moved to a hybrid...and now a TT. I don't want to spend a day setting up, a day tearing down, and have one day out of 3 to relax!
Hopefully the person that bought your restored pup knows what they have and will enjoy it for a long time. Congrats on your new to you...
We had a pop up that a double king bed pup w/no slide or bump outs other than the 2 beds. It had a single axle and seemed to be greatly affected by passing trucks especially. It'd move all over the place.
When moving to the hybrid, with a double axle, it seemed to calm down quite a bit...
As said above, this is an interesting thread. I grew up tent camping until a particularly bad storm that woke us all up to playing bumper boats on our air mattresses. My mom went to the car and slept there the rest of the night. Next camping trip we had a Lil Gasser Viking. That was the 1st...
