Free Campsite in Anderson, SC - Sadlers Creek State Park

We had a group of friends that backed out of this weekend and I have a primo lakefront site reserved for the weekend (Thursday - Sunday) that can be yours. We're a pretty fun group of folks to hang out with, it's my wife, me, and my 4 sons (15, 10, 4, 1) and our pup Winston. Let me know if...

    Damage and heartbreak....

I'm so sorry this happened. It sours my stomach when stuff like this happens. I bet your son feels terrible - teachable moment for sure. I always do two laps around checking the clips before cranking because this kind of stuff scares me! I hope you get it fixed soon and it doesn't cost much.

May 2021 - what did you do for your camper?

How difficult was it to wire the camera into the reverse power on the trailer? I'm terrible at things like that!

    Outside propane grill

Not sure what it is, but I always got so nervous having the grill that close to the side of the pop up. I'm sure it's just an irrational fear....right?

    Plug into your own power

Same reason I carry two propane tanks. One connects to the other. Infinite propane, baby!

    Kid-friendly screendoor latch?

    [LOL] Sounds familiar!

    Kid-friendly screendoor latch?

That looks great - I ordered one. My 4-year-old cannot get the door open from the outside.

    Plug into your own power

Better than a neighbor having all their stuff set up in your site - had that happen to us a few weeks ago. I helped them move their things though. :)

    Kid-friendly screendoor latch?

We had a similar problem! I only put my door down at night - otherwise its attached to the ceiling in tow mode. We go in and out a lot. :)

    Anyone Make a Side Table?

I don't have the slide on grill or it's shelf to attach to the rail on the side of my camper, but I'd like to make a folding shelf to slide onto the track to get some use out of it. Has anyone done this before? What kind of bracket would I need to buy to attach a piece of wood to the existing...

May 2021 - what did you do for your camper?

Can you elaborate on how you made the shelf mount? I have the slide rail on the side of the camper already, but curious what bracket to attach to a wood shelf to make it slide on and stay propped up.

2005 Utah Metal Roof Painting and Caulking

I think the previous owner used regular tub and shower caulking to seal the nooks and crannies (and the roof rails) - will this be a problem in the long run? Should I use a caulk remover to remove it and use something different? What product do ya'll recommend to seal? Also, can I paint over...

    Outdoor Shower Repair

Ordered - thank you for the link and the advice!

    Outdoor Shower Repair

Can you put any head or hose in there? Or does it have to be specially made for a camper?

    Outdoor Shower Repair

When I turn on my outdoor shower, the water runs down the hose and there’s no pressure and very little water coming out of the head itself. I’m sure the hose and fittings are just busted after all these years. Do I need to replace the entire unit or can I swap the hose and head easily with...

Kings Mountain State Park - Blacksburg, SC

That’s sounds awesome. Is there a thread for it somewhere?

Table Rock State Park - Pickens, SC

This park has a lot to offer, as does the area that surrounds the park. We camped in the larger campground and although the sites were close, we still felt as if we had enough room. We had water and electricity in the site, as well as a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern hook. The bathrooms...

Kings Mountain State Park - Blacksburg, SC

Took the new pop-up to Kings Mountain State Park this past weekend and had a great time. The sites are pretty close together, but we still had adequate room to spread out. Each site has water, 30 amp electric, a picnic table, and a fire pit ring. Our site was a pull-through, but the majority of...

    Storage for Ez-Up Canopy

Ehhh...I could. That's definitely an option, was just trying to be creative and utilize my space as best possible. I feel like I have enough stuff inside it already!

    Storage for Ez-Up Canopy

I'm trying to brainstorm a way to store my 10x10 Ez-Up Canopy on my camper somewhere, and the first thought that came to mind was the rear frame behind the camper. The Canopy weighs about 25 lbs, so I don't think it would affect the sway or off-balance the load while towing significantly - or am...
