    Well it's been fun...

Last Saturday, I posted my pop up for sale. It's bittersweet. It's being replaced with a 2006 Keystone Hobbi 22ft toy hauler travel trailer. I'm a bit sad. This was my second pop up, and it is a rare hard side model. I spent MANY hours bringing it back to like new condition. However, the last...

    Furnace help :(

I had already purged the lines when it was running off the first set of bottles, so I don't think that's the issue.

    Furnace help :(

Just got back from my Thanksgiving camping trip. After bragging so much on how everything worked on my 1993 Starcraft, I ran into issues with my furnace on my trip. My pup has an atwood 12v/propane DSI furnace and after about 2 hour of use on the trip, it started this weird cycle where it would...

    I made a "dinofa"

No it doesn't. I have my big headboard pillow behind the sofa in the picture. There's just enough room (about two inches of clearance) for the backrest to fold down flat.

    I made a "dinofa"

My camper has a free standing table, so I can still set the table up in front of the sofa, but we almost always eat outside.

Non disabled people hogging ADA campsites? How?

I'm actually in this predicament myself a bit. I'm spending Thanksgiving at Cathedral Caverns here in Alabama. I reserved the trip about 6 months in advance and picked a great spot. The park called me about two weeks ago and said the spot I reserved online is for the camp host and they forgot to...

    I made a "dinofa"

Technically yes, but I never really used it. The water heater is under one seat and the electrical converter is under the other with a large sticker that says "This is NOT a storage compartment!" haha So no great loss in storage.

    I made a "dinofa"

Pull forward on the back rest part of the sofa, it clicks, and then lays all the way backwards flat. The seat bottom doesn't move. That was something I had to look specifically for to make this work. A jack knife sofa wouldn't work in this case. That was my first idea was to simply buy a jack...

    I made a "dinofa"

Alright... I'm just gonna say it... I HATE dinettes. Outside of the 20-30 minutes you might sit down for a meal, I find them completely useless and uncomfortable. Terrible for chilling and watching tv on a rainy day. So I remedied my problem... introducing the Dinofa! This is simply an Amazon...

    Newbie Here

Welcome! I previously owned a 1997 Jayco Eagle 8SD, and it was a great unit! Enjoy!

    Change is good - usually.

The TAB trailers also have a very low ceiling height, if either of you are tall, that will be an issue. The design of A-frame popups, by design, leads to very tall ceilings in the center of the camper. Also, don't forget, there are other manufacturers of A-frame popups outside of Aliner...

FINALLY DONE! 1993 Starcraft Starmaster Vista 1224

The curtains are actually original to the camper, however the previous owner did update the valances and curtain ties. They also reupholstered the dinette seats.

FINALLY DONE! 1993 Starcraft Starmaster Vista 1224

It's a standard two bottle mount. Threaded rod runs down between them and there's a clamp at the top to hold them down. Everything has fresh paint outside, so it's just a bit hard to see in the pictures.

FINALLY DONE! 1993 Starcraft Starmaster Vista 1224

From what I have gathered, the "Vista" (hardside option) is very rare and was only available on their larger 12ft box models for about 3-4 model years... and it was quite an expensive option. Unlike solid state Apaches, hardside Colemans, and some hardside Palominos, the hardsides on the Vista...

    2006 Fleetwood E1 - Thoughts?

If you're not sold on this particular model, I'd move on. While I can't say for sure, it looks to me like that pop up has lived its entire life outside. Not good. From my experience, pop ups (and most campers really) just aren't built to sit outside 24/7 365 without constant attention, and let's...

FINALLY DONE! 1993 Starcraft Starmaster Vista 1224

After several months of renovations (and repairing a fairly large soft spot in the floor) I am finally done with my $800 Starmaster Vista. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Ended up having to do a section of carpet in the front of the camper that had the soft spot, which I wasn't thrilled...

    Two lift points??

I think you're right. I finally found the manual for the camper by digging through this forum, and the manual mentions using either one of the crank points, but doesn't go into any detail into why it has two of them.

    Two lift points??

Hoping someone can answer this. I recently renovated a rare hard side 1993 StarCraft Starmaster Vista. It has two places to insert the crank to lift the roof. One is on the side under a door and one is through the frame. They both seems to do the same thing. Anyone got an explanation? See photo...

    Nu2Me 1993 Starcraft Starmaster Vista - Questions

Also, does anyone know what type of lift system is in this camper? I come from the Jayco world and the lift on my Jayco is totally different. Trying to figure out if this camper should be raised with the jacks up or down.

    Nu2Me 1993 Starcraft Starmaster Vista - Questions

Hey everyone! I just picked up a 1993 Starcraft Starmaster Vista hardside popup. I only paid 800 bucks for it. Reason for that... someone stored a water hose under the dinette that was full of water, so it has a nice soft spot in the floor about a foot in diameter. The rest of it is solid and in...
