1st time using awning

We used the awning for the first time this weekend. What a difference it made and was a lot easier to put up than my buddies had told me. Will be using all the time

I watched a couple spend an hour fooling with their awning, if they only undid it out go the bag before raising the roof. Before we left I tried to make sure he saw me pack mine up.

When we were camping July 4th, it was too windy to put up the awning when we first got there. The next day we set it up, of course the PUP was already set up. It was a challenge. We had to borrow a foot stool to do it. We like to open it up before we set up, but it is not always possible. We'll have to get a foot stool.

My wife are tall, we can deploy or stow the awning with the pup up. Actually we did it nightly on our last trip. I prefer to not use it since it always seems to get windy after we set up.

The awning wasn't so bad to set up the first time. Although I didn't know about that little velcro strip in the middle. Thew screen room was another story all together. There was another PUP set-up with one near by so I wondered over to see how they did it. He was a lot of help, after the first time it wasn't too bad.
As long as I can remember to open it up before the top goes up!

Takes about 5 minutes to set up the awning and another to set up the screen room

If I can't set up before I raise the roof, and I don't bring a 6' ladder, I'm screwed.

I bring along a step ladder it has 2 steps in case I need to put it up after the PUP is setup.

I was nervous the first time we set up our awning but it was a piece of cake. I just worry a little bit about a storm coming Through during the night.
