My 2007 Viking2107 broke its top lift cable on the rear right side. It’s still attached at the top( cable looks about 4’ long) looks like it came apart at the connector. It’s Green!!!
Any insight on the replacement process? Is there a manual?

If it's the cable I'm thinking about It sounds like it's the guide cable and really serves no purpose other then tell you your roof is at height. I took my cable off all together on my old Jayco as it broke a couple times on me. Some people use a sharpie on the lift post itself when the roof is at height so they don't need that guide.

Boy, I’m surprised. It was a real bear to go up.. came down easy. I’ll get under it and see if there is another issue.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Look into lubing the lift system and pullies. Lift systems require regular maintenance and lubing as it can pick up grime etc. Best rule of thumb is to lube it every camping season. I like to do it in the spring as I discovered critters, bugs, like the nooks and crannies under the camper while it sits over winter. Unfortunately I do not have your type of lift system so can't help with the how to.
