Tom and Kathy - who had reserved site 42 next to us - have to cancel. So if anyone would like to take it here’s the info:

Site 42 in the back loop, from 5/30 to 6/3. The total cost is $107.99 for the 4 nites.

Would anyone coming to the rally like a spare crank up tool for their pup? We’ve had this one on hand since wesold our pup and have no use for it. All we would ask is that you make a small contribution to PopUpPortal. Thanks!

Last call: I will be cancelling site 42 on Monday, May 27th unless someone wants it and lets me know before then.

Ready to roll when I decide I've had enough of work.

Now what am I doing wrong that it won't post an image from Google Photos. I know I've done it before... I thought.

Genevieve and I had a wonderful time at Montana de Oro. We hope to attend the William Heise meet-up. It was also great getting to meet/chat with everyone. Special thanks to Dave & Cari for the potluck; Moe for organizing; and last but not least for Pam and her amazing firecracker bacon cheese dip! P.S. Am I the only one to be invaded by those one inch long beetles with a forked tail? It took me two days to search and destroy all those pesky hitchhikers. Everything I left out had dozens.

I didn't see any in the trailer but they sure liked my Lynx Levelers. I'll have to check this weekend when I prep for the next trip.

A little update on why I left. After We got there and started to set up we noticed Zoie my little long haired Doxie was covered in foxtails. Looking around the campground they were everywhere. So we left hoping to avoid any possible vet bills. Well Pam and I spent some time trying to make sure we got all the foxtails off her. Finally got Zoie to her groomers and she found 4 foxtails that we missed in between the pads of her paws. One was in imbedded fairly deep and was working its way in. It came out bloody. The pad is a little infected not badly but I’ll have to keep an eye on her if it gets worse off to the vet she goes. It’s a shame she is such a magnet for these ( Tanner has a smoother coat and didn’t seem to collect any) I was so looking forward to meeting everyone and even had a friend from the Coleman forum coming to visit while we were there. Maybe next trip.
