2022 Presidents Weekend Campout, Anza Borrego Desert SP

Thursday, Feb 17, 2022 AT 5 PM to Monday Feb 21, 2022 at noon (or what ever dates you like)

Free Dispersed Desert Camping, Blair Valley Anza Borrego Desert State Park. There is a pit toilet at the main turn off of County RD S2.

Turn off from Route S2, mile marker 24 or so (33.037287, -116.410526) (Just East of Stagecoach RV Park/Store about 2 miles right after you go up the mountain and a hard right to come back down.

Target Camping Spot, site #3, 4, 5: (33.022250, -116.393611)

There will be a Potluck, most likely Saturday night 1 hour before sun down!

This is the same exact spot as the 2021 Pre-Spring Pandemonium Rally, there are 6 marked sites. The markers are simply a 2x2in number sign on a post. We were in site 3 last time, 3, 4, and 5 all have plenty of spots!!

There are hot spring pools, mud caves, marked hikes, apple pies, 100 million star views, and more!!

Just got back from SD yesterday. Wish it had been a longer trip and I could have stopped by the rally and said hello. Have a great time and post some pictures.
