Hey all. I was mulling over what I should cook for the Mosquito Lake Rally potluck and started wondering if we should do a theme or something for it? Like dishes that start with the first letter of our last names or all dishes must all use an ingredient (like Dill) or dishes from countries we've visited. Something that would take us a little out of our comfort zones.

I would be up for something themed liked , or a spice incorporated . Not a big fan on dill myself , But would consider cinnamon (worlds oldest spice). Or something Original to the area . Since we are in Ohio I am making buckeye balls(peanut butter and chocolate ) as a side snack. (For Friday night meet and greet) . Besides the main Saturday potluck meal anyhow . Let’s put our thinking caps on.

Even though I never actually visited either places. I would be interested in doing something from our heritage countries, so me and kath could do a combination. Of good German and Polish. Dishes. Let’s say Kartoffelpuffer. And prazonka biwakowa

Heritage. That is a tought one. Our families came over so long ago on the boats that they were still sailing ships. I can't think of a dish we have made that is Heritage. But we can wing it.
