Yeah Pat, we really missed you at the rally again this year. Hopefully we get to see you in VT. I'm glad everyone else had a good time, we did too. Despite a wet Saturday night. Thanks Todd and Char for hosting this year. LOL.

Now for the truth! Yes, I hit the post, with my front tire while backing in. I barely touched it, and it fell over. It had been hit before, and was using a rock to hold it up. Had my mother said stop before I ran it over that would have helped. Anyway, no damage was done to the camper or the truck. The pole not so much. This was no where near the scale of the "Jimmy Hot Lap" by the way.

I get my second shot tomorrow, so—as long as the border is open—I’ll be there. I doubt that it will open before Labour Day, but maybe after Sept 21st, since the closure is always extended to the 21st of each month.

I believe it about the post, but blaming Peggy!?

Given all the facts, I’m inclined to agree with you, but- as you know—these ‘incidents’ are never forgotten.;)

Don't diminish your event by exaggerating mine.
Also, my "hot" lap didn't knock anything over.

I was simply trying to convey that my event was an accidental 1/2 mph, calm, bump of the pole that was almost unseen. Yours was... let's just say quite a bit faster, fueled by frustration, "hot lap" that everyone witnessed.

I still didn't hit anything

I put up a new thread for the 2022 NEPA rally and yes it is in the right place this year. I know we had talked about moving it, but I lost the battle. It is again going to be at Promised Land. You can start reserving this week so get on it.

I wasn’t aware that there was a battle—darn Covid/border closure strikes again! I like Promised Land, but would have entertained the idea of exploring a new campground.
