A/C roof supports necessary if no A/C?

Hi PopUpPortal-ers! We have been renovating a 2004 Fleetwood Sequoia that we didn't realize had as much water damage as it did until after we bought it. It has been a lot of learning on the go and we are really excited about where the end result is heading! We are putting decorative ceiling tiles up, however, a question that has come up is, do we need to put the support beams back on the repaired ceiling even though we do not have an A/C unit on our roof? Do these make a structural difference for the roof as is? Thank you!!

Oh, we live in Arizona, this is our first pop up as a family (we have a 3 year old daughter), but I grew up camping in a 1980s Coleman with my parents!

Um, yes. Colman added a roof brace in like 1998, it was a retro fit. I belive every pop up camper after that had braces. But they may had did away with them after the abs roofs? I am not sure. This is especially needed if its a larger camper or had an abs roof. Bracing is good. It will prevent sagging. Sagging is bad.
