Accidentally threw out the upholstered trim from dinette edges!

I don't know what I was thinking! I'm ready to recover new foam cushions but I need to find something to cover the unfinished rough edges of the dinette. They're rough and someone will get a good scratch if I don't fix it soon. Has anyone replaced these strips? They were screwed on with fabric-covered screws.

Could you try and fabricate your own? Maybe cover a plastic strip with your fabric & attach with something like the link below. Please post if you do find a solution, I'm thinking about changing mine out, so would like to see pics. Good luck.

There is a product called Hidem Trim. Fabric or vinyl.
Marine use for covering raw edges of plywood etc.
Google search/Amazon.
Hope this helps.
