That's the right stuff, and a good price. Buy a several-year supply. I'm probably inefficient in how I use it, but I use about three gallons to winterize, including the freshwater system and the toilet.

Well I go to the "Dark side" tomorrow.
Never had to winterize, so wasnt sure of the brand or even how many I would need yet.
So I picked up 4 May go back and get some more

2 or 3 should be plenty to winterize in a given year. I bought some a few weeks ago, diffrent brand but was marked down to a $. Wallmart is good with some camping stuff in the clearance section. I always walk through, winter time is the time to stock up on cheap beach blow ups for the lakes, and stuff like that.

Reading up in the differences in RV antifreeze is not a bad idea:

I only use the PG based stuff.

I wonder what exactly goes bad, especially if the jugs are sealed.
It don’t neccarry go bad. But it does expire. So it’s recommended. 1-4 shelf life. I usually go trough 3bottles to winterize my rv every year. So depending on how old the bottles are already would determine how many to buy at that discounted price

So, what happens to it when it "expires"?

IMO, as long as it hasn't separated in the jug it is proably good to use regardless of what the expiration date says.
