I think it's mostly that my husband has medical issues that I want to learn as much as I can, and partly because I just want to learn. I've never felt particularly smart, but as I get older I feel that it's just not true, I'm pretty hard on myself. But I'm getting better at taking care of me.

That’s fantastic! I’m jealous of your new found ability. I’ve been parking my campers for years & still don’t feel competent. I do manage it, though often with a few choice, usually undeserved, words for BF.
Life is unpredictable & it’s always good to be able to do as much of set up & take down as you can, which includes getting into the site. Plus, some things like, parking the trailer solo, make you feel like you’ve found your super power. 😁 Um, unless you are me. I am at times the entertainment. Oddly, I’m kind of okay with that.

When I was a kid, Dad had a converted small boat trailer as a utility trailer. Used it to pick up the raked pine needles (4 acres of yard, lots of trees), pulled by the garden tractor. Got pretty good backing it. After I got my license, I mowed lawns, carrying the tractor on that trailer behind the car. Also used Dad's boat, although I never felt comfortable backing it into the garage with the car, used the tractor. Later, got my own boat, got even better backing.
I tell you what, it is a DIFFERENT skill set to back a short tongued camper, everything happens faster. But I'm getting good at it.

Appreciate entertainment! The more the better, we have a great campground host that we enjoy hanging out with he always has a nice fire and a little beer and a smoke, we usually walk back to.our site giggling. So to entertainment! Thats camping!
