Reading through all the old posts, I'm amazed at how many people suffer from tinnutis. I'll add my name to that list. Fortunately mine is usually mild but there are times when it can be maddening and times where I don't notice it at all. My knees are only a problem when I need to get down or up off the ground. So I'm not doing bad. But my poor DW (Bug) has major health problems. Now she's developed seven fractures in her back( don't ask how:grin:) . She keeps saying she feels bad because it all up to me to set up and take down the camp. But I truly enjoy doing it ( I know I'm weird), but for some reason I find it relaxing. And camping helps her, so I'll keep on doing it as long as I can.

No reason for her to feel bad especially if you don’t mind. My wife and I have our system that works for us. She takes care of all inside stuff and I do all the outside stuff. What matters is that you are spending time together doing something you like to do. I know if my wife couldn’t I would do it all so she could still go.

My DW, and I celebrated 47 years of running together, 7th of May. We enjoy ever single thing of our camping experience. We have camped together from the very first year, and will continue until it is the very last year. Our bodies have aged, what doesn't hurt doesn't work, our minds are still clear, that is all that matters. I raise my glass to all who are avid outdoors people, and wink an all knowing eye to those that continue to serve their Partner, for better or worse. Continue to enjoy the camp. See you on the trail.

I have constant pain (Fibro & Hashi's) issues also. This will be our 1st real trip in the pup. I'm hoping all goes well, if not, I'll be resting more than normal when camping. 😉 I know it can be difficult for those of us with our ailments, but I'm not about to quit yet.
