And our new planned arrival is early Friday morning; DH got a new job and has to work on Thursday…

Leigh and Zack will be there on Thursday evening. We'll leave on Saturday as I have Sunday morning responsibilities. Looking forward to this trip! We randomly met the Stills at Fort Wilderness last month and they said they won't be able to make it. Their handle it "Sputnik"

Hello everyone,

I am officially canceling the rally.
It was a difficult decision, but honestly, it is the best decision.

This does not mean YOU have to cancel your reservation — it just lets you know that no one is expecting you to attend, and that there might not be any other Portal members at the campground.
We (SHFL family) are canceling our reservation.

Better safe than soggy!
…and we will try to get together some time in 2023.

Yeah, I was looking at the weather and agree with the decision. I think I can get a portion of my money back. Any hints on getting refunds from Florida? Georgia allows refunds but they retain 10 bucks.

My original reservation has tomorrow as a check in.
I canceled it around noon today, and they refunded all but $25.

That’s not too bad – – I think they kept the reservation fee, and maybe 10-15%? Either way, you will get something back.

You can cancel the reservation online.

Call the campground. If they are going to be closed because of the storm, you can call the 800 number and it will all be refunded. You can reschedule at the same location for a change fee online. Use the modify button on your reservation data.

I agree probably best to cancel , my daughter lives on east coast in New Symernia beach, she took on some water damage last hurricane, due to not having a new roof completed in time, still no roof as it turned into a big legal matter, so hopefully it won’t be as bad, I’m still hoping to join you all at some point in time for a rally, given the stars line up! Stay dry !!!!
