DW & I just spent a long weekend at Cove Lake. It's a beautiful facility. I was unaware that Tennessee does not charge enentry fee to any of their state parks. The campground was unusual in a number of ways.
The showerhouse is the older section (I presume) has no walkway to it. You must go through someone's site. The newer showerhouse has an ADA sidewalk to it, but neither has any parking. The picnic table is often concrete, on pad, and installed on the utility side of the site.
The dump station is in the actual exit road out of the campground. This created an exit backup Sunday morning that was likely a few hours long. I had dumped my portable 20 gal tank earlier, but if I hadn't gone the wrong way on the one-way loop I would have been stuck in line anyway. I'll likely leave on another day in the future.
