Before I returned, and ordered a different one, I just wanted to confirm that I am doing the right thing..

I ordered up some of those “glow and blow” bunk end fans, and I was SUPER excited to get them today, and use them tomorrow at the campsite, but when I went to test them, I got the wrong plug. :( Honestly, I just assumed they were all the same…. So……

These are the fan’s that I got. But apparently, that is the older style jack plug.

Here is my plug on the roof:

Safe to assume that this is the fan I actually want? After soon googling, that seems to be the only other plug that I can find.. If that isn’t the right one, any suggestions on what I Would actually need?

Thanks in advance!!

The 2nd link looks like the right one - maybe just measure the receptacle in your trailer if you can to double check. The link says it is a 5.5mm OD plug.

If you can't return the ones you have you could just cut the ends off and put the correct ends on.

I got two of those fans about 3 years ago. I was lucky enough to already have a 12-volt phone jack plug in the overhead light fixture on the camper. But I had to add the plug to the other bunk overhead light. It wasn't a bad job. I thought they really worked well.

Little bitta help from an A-dapter kit?? Check Amazon to see if they sell adapters - I remember seeing several when I was looking to replace a power supply cord in my truck.

I did measure, but figured it was worth asking. I figured why wouldn’t there be at least 3 different standards for plugs. :).

Because of the cost difference between the 2, I figured I would just return the ones I have and get the proper ones. I assume there is an adapter of sorts out there, but I know I’ll lose those at some point and then I’m back to square one.
