It was quite a few year ago that I made it. I vividly remember my FIL pulling me aside and telling me, "I can't eat that cake. I want to, but it looks too real."

The cake was seriously delicious. It was light and moist and probably in the top three best cakes I ever ate. I think of the 30 people at the party, only three people ate some. Even my wife and kids stayed away. It takes a lot for kids to not want cake and this was it. The ice cream was very popular though.
