FLORIDA FALL RALLY

oln-main.jpg

The dates were determined at the Spring Rally and the location was discussed over the past few days. O'Leno State Park is a bit further north than our previous rallies, but hopefully the distance can be overcome by our members from the south. The location will however make it more possible for those members living in the northern portion of the state to hopefully join us. Maybe even get some members from neighboring states to join the fun as well.

LOCATION - O'Leno State Park in High Springs, FL
Between Gainesville and Lake City very near I-75

410 S.E. O'Leno Park Road
High Springs, Florida 32643

(386) 454-1853

PRICE - $18.00 per night

DATES - October 19-21, 2012

There are only 2 planned events as of right now. Most important is a pot luck dinner on Saturday evening at a location (and time) to be determined.
After the success of cuckoos meet and greets on Friday nights, we will also do that again. Not 100% sure of location, but will probably be at our site (site 18). Everyone is welcome to stop by and say HI.

There is an Alligator Warrior Festival happening that weekend at the park.
Information on the festival can be found here.

FL Panhandler, you'll be our neighbors! We went last year and it was great. We know you will have a great time!

I'm pretty sure we can accommodate making more of the cornbread casserole for the pot luck (a couple of pans of it) and ???.

01YZF6, don't know what you are saying by posting the prices?
I'm assuming you will be bringing the hybrid down.

Looking good so far. A few hours in and we are officially a rally.

As soon as I am changed to be able to moderate the thread, I will update the first post with names and site #'s.

Matt, I have a USPSA competition in north Gainesville on Sunday. I will run by O'Leno SP and reconnoiter the Area of Operation PUP FL Fall Rally. Do you have any questions or concerns for me to check on? Will check for acceptable Saturday Supper Sites as well as locations for the Championship Cornhole Contest. [:)C]

Will also count squirrels for Mr. Bill's Rally Security Program, and for Ray (who says he needs at least six roasted squirrels for his meal alone)! [WL] [WL] [WL] [WL] [WL] [WL]
