I'm almost a third of the way there on my Ram.. probably be even closer if I hadn't swapped it for the wife's cars two months ago due to our fuel prices.. I average 38k kms per year just driving to and from work

Work a 4/5-5/5-5/4 shift (4on/5off, 5on/5off,5on/4off). Just drive about 350kms (700kms round trip) from home to work each week plus the daily 140kms (round trip) to a crash pad3 or 4 days of those weeks.. plus one week of vacation equals 14 calender days off.

I couldn't do it, even if gas was free. Being away from my family that much time would kill me.
I should add, those are 12 hour shifts we have 1 guy who commutes from Calgary each week. My travel time and his are about the same..
