it's been brutal here in az, the whole month of july was in the 110 plus, so far this month not much better, we did see a cold front from the hilary hurricane but it missed most of az and now it's down to 103, later this week back up to 111.
I was out in Phoenix for work in July but we (wisely) stayed inside a hotel the whole time. You’ve had it bad!

Here in TX it has been brutal. I yearn for the cold. I've had to do some repair work on our vehicles this summer in the driveway, damn near killed me.
We’re in GA where it will “only” be in the mid-90’s today. The blessing is that overnight low of 70. My sis in TX would love our temps. They’ve had far too many days at 100+. Some got up to Midnight Oil temps.

Thanks to Midnight Oil, I remember what 113 F is in Celsius. “The Western desert lives & breathes in 45 degrees…” (odd thing to remember for 40 years) No way am I camping somewhere with Midnight Oil temps!

I am the opposite...I can layer up and the cold dont bother me.
When it's hot and muggy i get miserable and get stuck inside
trying to escape it. [:D]
Reminds me of a trip to Wisconsin in Jan. Dry cold is not bad. Wet cold soaks down to the bones.

When did the NWS started framing the forecast in Red. Is that a new thing or did I not pay attention in the past?
