I think repairs should be calculated in the cost of the ones under $1,000. I'll modify my earlier entry.

$600 for the PopUp
$40 for new linoleum and glue and etc. for the floor
$75 for 12 gauge extension cord and Power strip
$5 for a little level I bought last night (I'm excited!!)
$720 total

The previous owner took good care of it. It already had new tires and recent canvas so I didn't have to replace those items.

It is nice to know what is out there and what people paid for their PopUps. We haven't even camped in ours yet but we know we will upgrade in a few years. Thats the definition of a starter PopUp right?

$5500 last year for a 1999 12' Eagle Jayco high walls 12' with slideout dinette, furnace, ac, outdoor shower and water heater, awning, king and queen beds, extra table in gaucho area. No tears in the canvas and looked like new on inside. Always garage kept by original owner. Only bad part was brakes were warped, which I didn't know until pulling it. But I will get years of good use out of it. Underside shows no water wear or damage and roof is sound. I did repaint it this fall just because I wanted to re-caulk around the seams. It looks great, if I say so myself.

$1750 for my '96 Rockwood Signature Series 1289 about 2 years ago. I feel guilty every time I think about it. I bought it from a small dealer. He had it listed on his site for $3000, and NADA justified that. He listed it on eBay, and I was the only one to meet his reserve price. Of course I waited until there was only 30 seconds left before I bid. I actually bid $2250. I was thrilled when I saw that I got it for $500 less.

I have probably put an equal amount into repairs and upgrades, but 98% of them were unnecessary. I can't help it, I'm addicted to mods.

Looking at everyone else's prices....mine....WAY TO MUCH. Even though they discounted our 2007 Fleetwood Niagra by $6000. It came fully loaded with every option possible, plus a lot of extras. $15,000 final price. Bought it new two years ago.
