Hello! From (it's about to get cold) Michigan. 2 weeks ago I bought a 1990 Jayco 1406, double axle, sleeps 8... 56 yo, have never owned a pop up, needs some work (what have I gotten myself into) and telling myself "I can do this", AND the 2nd cable just broke! But the price was fantastic!

Good luck with the repairs it looks in pretty decent shape. 7 years ago I was seriously thinking about that model of Jayco myself but wasn't quick enough. Another family came to get it the second I was thinking about getting it and driving back. I hope you have many great years and memories with the unit.

The brackets and pully's are good. One eye bolt broke & a snapped cable. Whoo Hoo! Lol I have everything accessible, cleaned up and I am going to tackle it today 🫣 Any tips before I put the roof down and crawl into the "dark"?
