Lake Catherine State Park?

We have a short trip scheduled to Lake Catherine SP in late June. Does anyone have any experience at the State park or nearby Hot Springs?

I grew up on Lake Catherine and now one of my friends is the Head Ranger there. I'll look at the map and tell you the few places I have camped there. Do you have a spot reserved? A big note is that it is across the lake from Hot Springs so it is a drive if you want to visit the city.

They were redoing the camp sites a few years ago. Beautiful park. Not a bad drive to Hot Springs.
