Looking to add a 2nd tank

Hi all,

My 2005 Fleetwood Yuma has the ability to carry 1 20lb tank on the tongue. I want to add a 2nd 20lb so I can leave 1 on the tongue for the furnace and take 1 off to run my bbq and camp stove. My current tank is held on as shown in the picture, but I can’t seem to find what these rods are called or where to buy them. Can anyone help me out? I would rather buy 2 cheap rods and drill a couple holes instead of buying a $100+ dual tank carrier. Thanks!

I got my J hooks on ebay. Did a search for propane J hooks for popup. At least on my popup I already had the holes on the tongue to secure the bolts so not sure if yours do or not. I have discovered not all propane tanks are made the same and had to manually adjust the bend on the hook to work for my tank. Hopefully you don't have that problem.

Buy the “J” hooks and drill into the angles like the original or get all thread and drill holes into the angles like the original.

Thanks everyone, those are exactly what I’m looking for. Unfortunately they don’t seem that easy to get in Canada, shipping costs as much or more as the item. If anyone has info on where to get them in Canada that would be great.

Your pictures look like a pain in the butt to remove a tank? I've never used those. If you did get another tank on there wouldn't a T be easier? Just use a long hose to go to your appliance?

I agree with rob.mwpropane, I've used these holders before and they're kind of a pain to remove if your going to do it a lot. One of these would be easier I think, and you can use a cover with it if you wish. They sell them everywhere, probably your Canadian tire.

Thanks that might be the way to go after all. The j bolts are a huge pain to get on and off.
