everything is better around a campfire.
Theres a few along Green river in Polk county. Mills river, Davidson River and Curtis creek campgrounds are good trout waters...

From my trucking days there are some camp grounds along the Nantahala river in North Carolina. The area is popular for rafting, but I don't know anything else from driving through.
