1st trip 5 days this Memorial Day weekend. I love the new addition to my camping equipment, a combo shower or sink faucet with its own rechargeable usb lithium battery by kick Ass products, it comes on a little case that holds the pump, battery, hose and shower head, works great for washing dishes or to take a shower. This would be perfect for boondockers.

sigh

Hilldweller sad; Hilldweller angry.

The boat traffic on the lake has been mostly mellow but some of them have very loud stereos and are cranking some of the most vulgar hip hop music I've ever heard in my life. Severe potty mouth. And there are a lot of little kids camping around here. Unnecessary.

But it's a party atmosphere and you're not really hurting anybody badly. They're just jerks.

But somebody just did something that makes me lose even more faith in humanity. Went into the Wash House and there's a brand new deuce floating in the urinal. I just don't get it.

I can't imagine what I would do to somebody if I walked in on that scene. I hope some of you would come visit me in jail

The urinal incident would take more effort than I’m willing to put into being a jerk. The person is dedicated to their craft.

We took our N2U camper on its maiden voyage to Highlands Hammock State Park in central FL. This is the first time we’ve camped with “canvas” in about 10 years. Having resided very firmly on the dark side in the intervening years.

We got in some good hikes to tire the dogs out (doesn’t take much with the short legs), but most of the weekend was spent figuring things out, fixing a few really minor issues and just relaxing.

The benches and table were built by the former owner. Stock, it’s mostly just a big open box.

We didn't camp this weekend, but got her popped up for the "after winter inspection". Mold/mildew as always, even with a cover on all winter... seemingly a never ending battle. Can't wait to get her out on the road this season.

If I were to go back to having two trailers, that’s what I would add. Hope you’re enjoying it.

My wife and I got out with the big trailer this weekend to visit her cousins campground on Rainy Lake in MN. I towed the camper up, and my wife towed the boat up so that we could camp and go fish. It was our first trip out this year and everything went well, found some new projects on things to fix but such is camper life. Next up we have to get the pop up set up and aired out.

Had a great weekend out in Central Oregon. Got the popup setup just in time for a nice rainstorm to roll through, and the PUP kept us nice and cozy. Brought the battery for the PUP to have more power options in case we needed a fan, but apparently I left the fridge on 12v so it drained the battery real quick. Oh well, we rarely bring a battery so it didn’t really matter. 🤷‍♂️

I am not familiar with Camp Master trailers, but that looks like a very sturdy build!

They don't exist anymore. It was a company called roadmaster that made very hefty cargo trailers. They branched off into campmaster for a few years in the early 2000's making 3 sizes of toyhauler campers. Eventually they were bought out and went back to making cargo trailers under a new name. It's a 25 foot trailer, half living space, half garage. My only minor complaint is that there isn't a dedicated bed, you either convert the dinette or the jack knife sofa. My solution was to buy two sets of disc-o-bed bunk cots and set them up in the garage so when I'm not hauling my atv I can use it as a bunk room. It may not be the prettiest or fanciest rig around, especially compared to the class A and super C we were parked between, but we like it because it gets us outdoors.
