Missing awning poles

Hi,

I have a Dometic Trim Line awning on my 2002 Starcraft 2107.

To my horror when I got the awning out on our 1st trip, I found that the awning is missing all 4 extendable poles which enable the awning to be put up 😢

My question is does anybody know where I can purchase these poles? Or where to get alternatives? I would also need the ball end from the poles into the connectors on the tent trailer?

The Dometic site seems pretty useless 😂

So I am guessing you are looking for ends of the polesdometic-trim-line-bag-awning-product-id-944-parts-list
This may help. Over the years I have made tubes from EMT. It isn't expensive, but strong. I piece of 1/2 inch will fit inside a piece of 3/4. I use Velco as a bushing and slide. I am also guessing that the cups are for mounting the poles to the side of the camper. A simple L bracket and pin may also work. I also think that some people don't like the poles to the camper side because they walk into them.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the suggestion. I found a replacement awning at half price ($250) at Hanna RV, so decided to go with a new one :) after all the one I have is probably the original one (20 years old) and the plastic awning material is pretty stiff now and probably doesn't have much life left :)

That’s very kind 🥹 but I have ordered a new awning now, but if there are any issues/delays with that then I will be in touch 👍 thank you so much 😊
