My father passed this month

I haven't been on line much this month. I just finished my Dad's obituary today for the hometown papers back in Ohio. It has been a hectic couple weeks to say the least. Treasure every moment, life can be more fleeting than you think. His passing was very sudden and without warning, and there was so much left to do and talk to him about. He will be missed, and I couldn't have asked for a better father. Thank you for showing me the way to fixing stuff, working on cars and bikes, helping me find my own way in life, how to cook on the BBQ and how to be the best Dad I could be. I will always be your squire.

I am officially done with 2020. May we all have a safe, happy and healthy 2021 and beyond.

I’m terribly sorry to hear about your loss. I’m right along with you, I’m done with 2020. As of this Thanksgiving my mom was diagnosed with cancer. The only plus thing about this, is because of Covid my boss is allowing me to work from home or rather from my parents house so I can help my dad take care of mom. Take care and hope you have a better 2021.

Sorry for you loss... 2020 sure has a lot of thing on-going... Just read this on-line..

"On December 21, Saturn and Jupiter will align into a beautiful bright star. This will be the first time they align like this since the Middle Ages."

Has not happened for some 800 years ...

Will look like the Star of David from the Bible days it says...

We remain on lock-down here sitting under my Camping tree here at the house... Coffee always taste the best sitting outside...

Sorry for your loss. Be thankful for the years you had. I lost my dad suddenly in 1976. I still think about him every day.

Sorry about your Dad. It has been an unpleasant year. Hopefully next year will be better... We have lost a few family members this year too.

Before COVID-19, teleworking was unheard of for many of us. And now it’s been almost 9 months since I’ve been working from home. I am grateful to still have a job and even more grateful to be able to work from home.

This year has proven at least for me, of the many things to be grateful for. And to be hopeful for 2021.

Happy Camping...[ALPU][PUT]

So sorry for the loss of your father. I know it is difficult. I lost my dad five years ago and still miss him every day. It is very hard to lose a loved one, but take heart, over time it eventually does get better as the great memories continue.

I'm sorry. It is difficult, doesn't seem to matter how old we are, or they were. Forty years on from losing my folks (40+ for my dad), I can say the pain fades

My condolences to you and your family. I lost my Dad the day after X-mas 2011, I visited him that afternoon and he died suddenly at dinner time, glad I got to see him to tell a few stories and laugh one more time. I miss him.

Sorry for your loss! Loosing more and more loved ones so far has been the worst part of getting older. Each relationship and each person is different and the same holds true for grieving.

So sorry about your loss. Your father sounds like a good man. I lost my father over 35 years ago and still miss him when I want to ask him a question and he isn't there to answer.
2021 will have to be better.
