Newer tent canvas issues Jayco 12UDST

Our camper had new tentage installed before we bought it. So it was brand new at the time. In the last several seasons it has started to peel itself out of the J channel? I’ve included pictures on what’s going on. Was this not installed properly? I have always been careful not to take the top up to far. But, right now. It’s not holding itself together. Any help is appreciated

I guess to be more specific about my questions. The screws they used to hold the canvas in the channel. Was in installed incorrectly since there isn’t any reinforcement material to keep it from just tearing. However as you can see there is a double stitched canvas flap on each corner, should the screws have been installed of those flaps?
